Welcome to Art Utopia!

Come and join us for a unique art experience!

Art Utopia (AU) is a privately owned business created to reach out to local home-school, public, and private school children and adolescents (ages 5-14) who are looking for a non-judgmental space to express their individuality and create personal pieces of art. Our mission is to build self-esteem through the arts.

We aim to inspire children and teens to think creatively, channel their inner artist, and learn to trust in themselves. We encourage our students to act independently, take pride in their artistic abilities, and to help them get on the path to discovering who they are and find what it is that makes them unique in a creative way.

The arts are a very powerful tool to help find confidence and self esteem. We will use the visual arts, as well as uplifting music and dance/movement to inspire creativity. Art materials will be used as an inspiration for our weekly mixed media art projects. We will incorporate positive affirmations into our daily routine.

Imagine the possibilities! We will create a safe, positive environment where children and teens can freely express themselves while encouraging ingenuity in their work allowing them to handle any challenges that come their way. We like the expression, “Make lemons into lemonade”.  We want our students to visualize themselves as powerful, positive people who can achieve anything. Through the careful observation of the art process, examination of the final project, and introspection, our students will discover the power of the arts in their own lives.

Now its time to create! Here at AU we provide supplies to each student to create their very own art projects. What makes our art classes so special? We allow your child the opportunity to share their thoughts and feelings throughout the class while the instructors encourage positive thinking skills. Each child will share and present their work to be viewed by other students. This sharing is important to build the confidence of his/her own ability as an artist.

“It doesn’t matter how the paint is put on, as long as something is said” – Jackson Pollock
